"AP UtilityPoses 1.2.zip"

This is an update of a package made for an earlier version of Antonia (v0.9.122). The update was done in a rather mechanical way, and has not been as thouroughly tested as the original package. If you find any bugs, please let me know.

This package contains a set of utility poses for Antonia v1.2.0. All the poses will be found in 3 sub-folders under:

Runtime\libraries\Pose\Antonia\UtilityPoses

The thumbnails give a more complete description of the action of each pose than the file name.

'Lock-ON' folder:
The poses in the 'Lock-ON' folder allow you to lock various sets of actors (body parts). Note that the '! ALL Locked' pose also locks the Body actor. These type of poses are often referred to as "Body Locks". When an actor is locked it will not be affected by transform (rotate, translate, scale) poses. Even if the actor is subsequently unlocked, it will not show effects of poses if they were applied whilst it was locked. In other words, lock poses provide a way of applying full body poses as partial poses. The Lock-ON folder also contains an '! ALL UnLocked' pose. The parts to be locked by each pose are shown in red in the thumbnail.

'Lock-OFF' folder:
Contains poses to unlock sets of actors. If you want most of the figures parts locked, and only a few parts unlocked, it may be easier to achieve the combination by locking the whole figure, then selectively unlocking actors. The parts to be unlocked by each pose are shown in green in the thumbnail.

'Visible-OFF' & 'Visible-ON' folders:
These folders contain poses to turn off or on the visibility of various sets of actors. Red in a thumbnail indicates visibility off for that part. Green indicates visibility on.

'Miscellaneous' folder:
This folder contains the rest of the utility poses.

'!Leg IK Off' & '!Leg IK On'
These set the IK status of both legs on or off respectively.

'!Zero Figure'
Affects all actors. Sets all the scale channels to 100%, sets all translations, and rotations to zero, sets the CTRL channels in the hands and head to zero.

'!ZeroBodyHipRotTran':
Sets the translations and rotations of the BODY and hip actors to zero (does not affect scale).

'castsShadow OFF' & 'castsShadow ON':
These poses enable or disable 'Casts Shadow' for all actors (except BODY).

'Colour CURRENT' & 'Colour CURRENT off':
'Colour CURRENT' assigns a random colour to the currently selected actor, this can be useful when you need to see where the actor boundary falls. NOTE THAT WHILST 'COLOUR CURRENT' IS IN EFFECT, POSER MAY EXPERIENCE A SLOW DOWN. 'Colour CURRENT off' cancels the effect of 'Colour CURRENT' for the selected actor.

'Default Scale'
Sets the scale (including x, y, and z scale) of all actors to 100% (the default).

'Hidden 1' & 'Hidden 0'
These have nothing to do with the visibility of actors in the document window! 'Hidden 1' prevents the actors from being selected by the cursor in the document (scene) window, it also hides the actors from the dropdown Body Parts menu. When using the cursor to select body parts of a character in the document window, in some versions of Poser you may experience accidental selection of parts of a conforming clothing item. 'hidden 1' can prevent this. Select part of the conformer, apply 'Hidden 1', now select part of the character. The conformer will no longer be susceptible to selection via the cursor. You will still be able to select the Body of the conformer by choosing it from the dropdown Figure selection menu (top right corner of document window), you will still be able to select individual actors via the Hierarchy Editor. In P4 (and perhaps P5) the Hidden poses may "overflow" into the character, if this happens, apply the 'Hidden 0' pose to the character. 'Hidden 0' cancels the effect of 'Hidden 1'.

'JCM Off-On':
This pose creates a 'JCM Off-On' dial in the BODY actor, and also adds some ERC slaving to the JCM channels. The 'JCM Off-On' dial turns the JCM channels off or on. 1.0=on, 0.0=off, the default is 1.0=on. NOTE that this pose was constructed for Antonia preview version 1.2.0, later versions of Antonia may contain extra JCM that will not be affected by this file!

'PBMCC-ZeroAll'
Sets the dial value of all PBMCC_## channels (targetGeom and valueParm) to zero, does not affect initValue ('Restore' value).

'PBMCC_REM ALL'
Removes the deltas from all PBMCC_## channels, additionally hides the dials, sets the dial value to zero, sets the initValue to zero, sets the dial name to "-".

'REM Native'
Deletes all the morph deltas that come in the 'Antonia 1.2.0' figure. Also hides dials, and sets the initValue and keys value to zero for the native morph channels (PBMCC channel excluded).

'static 1' & 'static 0'
Works on the currently selected actor or prop only. This is like as turning animating on for a camera or a light, but for actors or props. When 'static 1' is set, the actor will not move in an animation, even thopugh it has frames set. If you adjust the actor in any frame, that adjustment will persist throghout all frames of the animation. Very useful for stopping things moving in an animation without needing to edit frames. Morphs are not affected. Only rotations, translations, scale, and the following channels are affected. If the head is selected static 1 will also affect 'Brows-gone' and 'CTRLHeadGrow'. If a hand is selected all the CTRL channels in the hand will be affected. 'static 0' reverses the effects of 'static 1'.

'* TEMPLATE':
The TEMPLATE files will not do anything if applied to the figure. They are mean for use in a text editor as an aid to constructing your own pose files. For example, open the '_AP Actor TEMPLATE.pz2' in a text editor, do a global 'Search & Replace All' of "#" with "off" and you have have a pose that will hide all body parts. Or put the line "locked 1" in the 'head' and 'neck' actors and you have a pose that will lock the head and neck. Or open the '_AP PBMCC TEMPLATE.pz2' and do a global 'Search & Replace All' of "#" with "hidden 1" and you have a pose that will hide the dial for any morph that has been injected into a PBMCC_## channel.

Please note that all the files in this package were made for Antonia v1.2.0. Some of the poses may not be fully functional in in previous versions or subsequent versions of Antonia.

COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER FIGURES:
Although the files were made specifically for Antonia v1.2.0, and were only tested on that figure, some of them may work, or partially work, on other figures. The Lock and Hide poses will probably work on the DAZ gen 4 figures except for the jaws and tongue, and they will probably work on the P4 figures with the exception of the eyes. The same applies to some poses in the Miscellaneous folder. The 'REM Native' and the poses dealing with JCM are specific to Antonia, and SHOULD NOT BE USED ON OTHER FIGURES. The '!Zero Figure' and '!ZeroBodyHipRotTran' and 'Colour CURRENT' poses should work on almost any figure. The bottom line is that you use these poses on other figures at your own risk.

INSTALLATION:
